Cocoa's owner states that he "pants like a puppy when he's tired". We had a cat which did that, and it turned out that he had cardiomyopathy; he died before he turned 3 years old, because we didn't know it. I strongly recommend that Cocoa be checked out by a vet for the possibility of this condition.
