View Full Version : Dental for Ralph Syracuse on Monday

Ralph is having his teeth cleaned tomorrow at 0930 at our vet. Please say a prayer that all goes well. Ralph has been in such a fragile state since the pancreatitis episode in December. He is doing better, eats, but not that much(so off for a cleaning), and has lost a bit of weight. He still has a very strong purr machine(which is going at full force as I write)!! Thanks in advance for all your prayers!!! Ralph Syracuse and Sandra

Lots of prayers coming Ralph's way from the TopCats. Cleo knows how he feels about the weight loss, she eats heartily but it's a struggle to maintain weight. She says eat whatever you want, whenever you want, as many small meals a day as you can manage and your human is available to give, and don't expend too much energy running around. Sleep as much as you can, it's healing, and you put on lots of weight that way, normally. It's OK to be greedy and slothful when your age and health demand it. But we mustn't indulge ourselves in ALL the seven deadly sins, however these two are OK,my vet said so. :p :)

The Found Cats are miffed that I misssed this thread.
Of course we are praying for Our Big Orange Friend Ralph,and we pray that his teeth are all right.
And that the cleaning will give him his appetite back.
We love YOU Ralph!

I thought I posted last evening about having to do some thinking after speaking to Dr. Ascher about Ralph. It is not good....
