Rosie is a BOY! LOLOL!

The Humane folks had already named 'her' Frieda - and when Charlene came back from the vet to report the gender(which she knew all along), they thought maybe Freddy? Friendly Freddy!

The tattoo in the ear led to a dead end in the city(Calgary); the phone # wasn't the right people.

So now Freddy is held for 10 days to see if anyone is missing a cat - if not, Freddy goes up for adoption!

Freddy passed the vet's exam with flying colours on account of head-bumping everyone in sight! The neck injury will need antibiotics, but they are waiting several days for Freddy to get settled, and to see if an owner shows up. The injury is not serious.

Watch this space for further names!

The downstairs neighbour - he and his kids named the cat Rosie, and since they spent a lot of time with 'her', I took their word for it.

Sure, a happy cat like that had his tail up all the time...but I didn't notice anything male(maybe poor Freddy hadn't had much to start with!). And I wasn't going to STARE(So rude!).

Okay, okay - can I blame it on my trifocals???? :D

Awww, I hope little Freddy's neck is all healed up soon. It sounds like he will have no problem being adopted ... head bumpies sell well!!! ;) :D
