Ventriloquist & Nameless!!!
Surprise, surprise! I got my ratties one day earlier than expected!!! :D
I'm absolutely ectastic!!
Also, they're both double rex's, they're so nekkid! :D I love them dearly.
One draw-back... we haven't gotten their cage yet!! I feel like such a horrid rat owner... :( they're perfectly content in a ten gallon aquarium with a good, mesh lid over it(what we used for Marley) for now.
So the big question is: What is a good cage for a rat? I want it big, of course! :D Something under $120 is good. If you have any links to good cages, that would be great. We buy off of Ebay all the time, so there isn't a limitation there.
Also, what is the best approach to getting a rat used to you? They aren't aggressive toward me at all when I put my hand in their cage, but they sniff it, and if I attempt to pick them up, they dart away from my hand.
Anyway, thanks for any help! And on to the pictures!!:

And here is Mr. Nameless. :D He's a bit camera shy, but he'll probably come out of his shell soon. Just look at that cute little rat tongue!!!

And the last picture for now, Ventriloquist again.
After they get used to me, you'll probably see so much of them that you'll get tired of them!!! :D
EDIT// I heard Martin's is good... I looked at their site, and The Rat Tower (R-690) looks good, and its lower than the price I was originally going for. Do you other rat owner's think its a good cage?
