Wow, so Jack has an interesting addiction. He LOVES butter! Twice he has stolen butter off of the counter and he has eaten sticks of it! I know it can't be good for him, and I don't know why he's taken a sudden interest in the stuff? We keep the butter in a dish on the counter and we even moved it waaay out of his reach and around the corner and somehow he still manages to get it (I think he's gotten a couple naughty kittens to help him out  ). Its really puzzling me, any ideas on why he loves the stuff? It's the only thing he'll steal off of the counter! And maybe I could understand if he was starving or something, but he definately isn't...

Hmmm...I don't know why he would go for butter, but maybe when he got it once, then he doesn't want to stop! Marta got up onto the table once, now she tries to get up there all the time when she's bored.
What I do about that is just make sure all the chairs are pushed into the table so she can't get up, and I also don't leave food out there (although I still had a bottle of olive oil up there, which strangely enough ended up on the floor of the livingroom yesterday!!! There was olive oil all over the carpet! I think our kitty Seine must have knocked it off the table...). The only suggestion I have is to just put the butter somewhere else, like in the cupboards or something. I hope he gets over his addiction soon. :)

Nanook absolutely LOVES butter too. One of my friends dog is also addicted to butter.
I don't know why either but I would guess it's just like people, some people just love certain foods.

I have no idea what it is about butter, but one of my cats, Zoe is the same way. I finally just put the butter in a plastic container with a lid on it to keep her out of it.

Lol @ Carmen and Donna! :D Well, no more butter for him, we put it in a container with a lid now, hehe. But who knows he'll probably just eat the whole container next time  because that's how he is :p
