Laughter has been a pretty rare thing around here lately, but Paxil decided to lighten things up this afternoon. She is a well named dog! I left her in the house for five minutes and came back to find this!

My little antidepressant strikes again!!
Before anyone asks, I don't actually feed them Ol' Roy, but occasionally I buy a bag of the gravy stuff and use small amounts (2cups of kibble in 3 gallons of water) as bait in their water. We call it puppy crack, even a dog who refuses water baited with meat will lap that stuff up in seconds.

LOL, silly girl. It looks like Paxil would like it if you did feed her Old Roy. ;) How guilty did she look when she finally got her head out? :D

Awwww!!! Paxil, you're just being a silly goose! I have a question though Tamara. Why do the dogs go nuts over the water baited with kibble over water baited with meat?

No idea, except that particular kibble is like crack for dogs! I swear they add something to it! If I add their usual kibble, I don't get the same reaction. Usually the dogs prefer meat in their water, but when they seem to be a bit bored with that, I throw in some cheap kibble and everyone starts drinking again. When Paxil was close to death and refusing to eat, I could get her eat Ol'Roy. At that point, she needed to eat and whatever she'd take I let her have. It's either puppy crack or my dogs are complete freaks!

Thanks. That's just amazing. Maybe it's the gravy effect? :)

Paxil, you're such a good girl to get your mommy to smile in her difficult time right now.
That's what I love about dogs, just when you think they don't know what's going on, they do something like this. :D
Hugs to you, sweet girl.

LOL! Awwwww... that's too cute.
Just adding.. What exactly is so bad about Ol' Roy? I don't know much about it except that my aunt fed all of her working Border Collies Ol' Roy and they did fine.

Full of fillers. Corn is the first ingredient in all their formulas I think.
I do know people who feed it regularly and their dogs seems fine too. There was a time when I would get right worked up about what people fed their dogs. Then I got Kayleigh, who was starved by her first owner. Now I don't care so muc, as long as the dog is fed!
