Hunters B-day is on March 23rd so I thought I'd take him to the dog park that weekend (either the 25 or 26th). If anyone is interested in joining us, hopefully for a picnic if I can find an offleash park that has some picnic tables let me know.

Aww that's too late for me :( I'll be in San Diego this weekend, although even if you were going this weekend I'm not sure I'd have time to make it out to the dog park, but I wish I could!

That's to bad, Hunter just needed to be born earlier in the month. I'm out of town this weekend or I'd suggest trying to get together depending on your schedule. Maybe next time. :)

Hopefully you're going to the CA meeting this summer in L.A. I went last year and am planning on going again.
This will be my first time visiting San Diego, I'm going for a rugby tournament so I don't think I'll get to see much of the city. However I know I will have a great time anyways. I looked up the weather there and it's cooler than Tucson, it will be nice to get out of our heat for a weekend.
Give Hunter a birthday hug for me!

Slick if it makes you feel any better we've had rain the last few days and supposed to have more this weekend so your not missing much..although you still have us beat with the snow....better be careful not to let my pups know about it they'll be on your doorstep wanting to visit..they love snow.. :D

I saw that there might be rain! I'm excited, I think we are at around 150 days of unmeasureable rain. It finally sprinkled a little bit today, but it still wasn't enough to measure.

We weren't far behind you until recently... I don't think I could handle Arizona for long, I spent a few days in Phoenix a couple of summers ago and about passed out, and that was just going from an A/C car to an A/C building!! ;) :D

There was some crazy weather in San Diego this weekend. There was a lot of snow on I 8 about an hour away, thankfully we left at a good time some of the girls that left after us had to spend hours at a gas station because the closed off the interstate!
Saturday we got hailed on and it was freezing! It made for an interesting game.
It's a shame that I wasn't able to meet you this weekend. As soon as I got there I thought of you because our hotel was right behind a dog beach. So everytime I would look out on the patio I'd see lots of people with their dogs, it would have been a great place to meet up.
I did however get to see the Zoo on Sunday which was exciting because I'd never been before. I had such a great time and the weather was really nice on Sunday.

There was indeed some crazy weather in San Diego this weekend. Enough so that I got a picture of Riley's first snow (actually ice, but who's checking) prints:

Pnance, if you end up at a dog park for Hunter's b-day I may be a perfect exuse to take Riley to her first "official" dog park. We go to Fiesta Island all the time, but it's not quite the same.

The weather was really strange from what I heard, I came home to snow on a hill that was only about a mile from me and my roomates said we didn't get rain we got hail!!! We even made weather news. I was talking to coworkers in Canada on a teleconference call Monday and they said we actually made their news. I keep joking my area has had fire, flood, earthquakes, and now hail and snow in the last 3 years. I think we're done, there's not anything else is there??
Glad you enjoyed the zoo, it's really nice I love going and just wandering around. Next time you make it out here let me know and we'll arrange to get together. Since your coming down I8 you pass right by me.

I confess I've never taken any of my pups to Fiesta Island, I've taken Hunter to OB dog beach before, but I thought I'd try Balboa Park for a change. Right now I'm planning to go down to Balboa Park (probably the Morley field dog park) Sunday 3/26 in the morning if you'd like to join us.
