Pulled into rescue from a kill shelter just before his time was up.
Tanner has been with us for a little over a month, and we love him. We are however only his foster family, and have known all along that his special forever home would come along, and we'll be thrilled when that happens.
Tanner is about 2-3 years old, and a Lab/GSD mix or something or other! He's neutered, and current on all shots. He's about 45 lbs, and all snuggles. Tanner is good with other dogs of both sexes, cats, big humans, and little humans. He is pretty active, but my toddler still seems to do great with him.
His only bad habits are jumping occasionally to greet, but he corrects easily. He also likes to chew on a toy or two of my sons, but with more one-on-one and individual training and attention, I believe this won't be much of an issue. He will need some work to stop pullling on the leash, but sits and comes well.
Tanner has known love in his life, and is receiving it again now through us, but we're only a temporary stop for him, he's ready to go into a home that he'll stay for the rest of his years. If you're looking for a wonderful addition to your family, and have space on your bed and in your heart - Tanner is waiting to be your new best friend
