The bad newsYesterday, one of the four hard drives in Karen's computer died. Karen has lost a lot of her email. Last I looked she had more than 8,000 items in her inbox with tens of thousands of messages sorted into folders. If you are waiting a response from Karen please resend your message. Although, you should understand it may take a while before she can respond. If you have recently emailed your pet nomination please send it again just in case!The good news (for some of you).If you have been waiting to send in your nomination, now is the time! If you have a good story and clear photo of your pet send it in today! Your chances for a quick selection may never be better.PrecautionsWe are very sorry that we have lost so many messages. We will try to prevent this from ever happening again. We have ordered two new hard drives to hold incoming mail and a backup for the mail. We have just purchased a new CD-ROM recorder to help us make additional backups of the mail.(We have not yet tried everything to recover the files on the hard drive. So there is a glimmer of hope that we may be able to recover the lost mail.) |
