Daisy the Lop Rabbit, the Pet of the Day
Name: Daisy
Age: Seven years old
Gender: Female
Kind: Lop Rabbit
Home: Grimsby, Lincolnshire, United Kingdom

You can't look at Daisy and not think she's special. She is the prettiest bunny I've ever seen! I got her when she was about 10 weeks old from Pets At Home. Or should I say my mum did? Me and my brother started off with a rabbit between us called Buzz. When he died under anaesthetic we got two girls called Jessie and Dolly. My bunny, Dolly, died three months later from a freak bout of myxomatosis. Pets At Home have a two-month replacement policy on their rabbits, but when mum told them how beside myself I was they kindly gave me the cutest little ball of fluff you've ever seen. Now Daisy.

Within two weeks of arriving she was living with Jessie, and even grooming her ears. Although Jessie is the dominant one, Daisy has a "waste not want not" attitude toward food. Not a single stalk of her favorite treat, coriander, is misplaced. She sometimes also has a penchant for my clothes but it keeps me on my toes and she has customized some of my clothes for me.

When she was spayed they sent her home the same day because she 'looked sad.' She was missing her home comforts! We don't have many pictures of her as when she is awake she is quite perky, and when anyone but me holds her she gets fidgety.

I love my bunny rabbit so much!
