These are my pet African Dwarf frogs. Their names are Bubblegum and Cotton Candy. They are four months old. The snail's name is Ferris. I got them at the county fair this year. They live in an aquarium with the snail. Their aquarium has its own ecosystem. The rocks have live bacteria that act as the filter, the live plants create oxygen, and the snail eats any algae that may grow. I feed them two food pellets each twice a week. I only need to change their water twice per year. I leave about an inch of air in the top of their aquarium for them to breath. They are quite active and seem to know when I stop by to chat with them. The should live between 4 and 5 years so they will be entertainment for the whole family for years to come.
Bubblegum is on the left and Cotton Candy is on the right. Cotton Candy has a fuller figure and seems to be the most content just floating around. He also rests with his nose pressed into the rocks. Bubblegum is more active always jumping and swimming from one place to the other. I have caught Bubblegum trying to catch a floating ride on top of Cotton Candy a few times, which is so silly. I don't think they know their names, but they do understand feeding days which are Wednesday and Saturday.
