Muchi is my male parakeet - also called a budgie, short for budgerigar. He is a fun pet and a friendly boy. He is very active, though, so it ttok my a long time to even get this picture with him in his cage. Trying to take a picture when he is out for some exercise is impossible because as soon as I try, he flies over - uually to land on top of my head!
Muchi is very fastidious - this picture is of him grooming his tail feathers. He is noisy, but in a cheery sort of way, so it is not annoying like some birds can be. He is very curious, but does not like when I clean his cage - it is HIS territory, and he does not like anyone messing with it. He also is unsure of strangers, and can get quite lous if someone unfamiliar approaches his cage. Still he is a good pet, it is impossible to be too sad with a chirping blue friend in your life!
