This roly poly boy is Sabastian. He is not your typical pet, I know, and I never intended to have a pet Raccoon, but life had other plans. He was orphaned as a baby, and I ended up bottle-raising him, and he just became too tame to be released in the wild, as he expects his dinner and breakfast served at a certain time, and fresh water in his dish!
Sabastian is very smart, and can untie shoes, and figure out any puzzle toys I give him. His little paws are very adept at find their way into things, so we have adjusted the hosue to be more "Sabastian safe” - at least the areas he is allowed in. He has his own bed in his own cage where he sleeps, but also likes cuddling on the couch when it is TV time. He eats basically anything people do - which is why his wild kind are so adapted to living near people.
