I love both of my parrotlets ..but the green
one, Pippi is quite the character! She is thirteen years old. She loves to play, her favorite toy
is a spiky ball she picks up in her beak and
tosses around.
She will sit on my finger and give me kisses - but beware! If she is in a feisty mood she will puff up and become "PIPPIZILLA!" and you better get your hand out of her cage fast!
Despite her dual personality, I can't imagine my life without Pippi - she makes me laugh constantly with her antics. My blue parrotlet is Oliver. He is a sweetie so gentle and Pippi just loves him to death; she loves to snuggle with him; preen him and give kisses. He must appreciate the affection because these two cannot be separated.
She is hard to photograph. She doesn't stay still very long, but I'm glad I got a good photo of her finally!!
