What makes Abby special? Ever since I was eight, (I'm 13 now), I loved horses and everything about them, a neverending obsession that many young girls fall into. When I got Abby on November 9, all of my previously impossible dreams came true. Just one look at her made me realize how lucky I was.
After two short months, she and I have come a long way. Not only are we a horse and rider team, but we're friends; she has put a certain confidence into me that made me realize that no matter what the world throws at me, I can get through it. She's truly an amazing animal, more human than horse; every day, I'm greeted with nuzzles asking for a carrot, and if I don't give her one, she is content to nibble on my jacket or my hair, lovingly slobbering over every square inch of me. I love Abby because she's showed me that dreams can, indeed, come true.
