I have had my Green Parakeet, Pickles for about three years now, and I would love for the world to see how much I love him. His species is "Green Parakeet," and he lives with me in Wallingford, Pennsylvania, USA. He is about four years old. Before Pickles, I had some fish, but it's not as fun. Don't get me wrong, I loved the fish, I just wanted a pet that I could really bond with.
I went to the pet store, and there was a whole big cage full of Parakeets, and that's the moment I saw him. He was sitting on a stick with a few other parakeets, but I knew that Pickles was the one for me. I brought him home that night, and he was a little shocked, but we both knew he would adjust. After a few weeks, he felt adjusted, and I thought it was time to officially bond with him. I tried everything that YouTube said to do, but just couldn't find the thing that made us "click." I eventually just started playing music and doing my own thing, when he started singing. And that was it. The thing that bonds us together is music. And I have to admit, he is a good singer. And there is nothing in the world I love more than my bird, Pickles.
