Hi, my name is April. I am the light tan one. And this is my sister June. Mom was very sad at the loss of her guinea pig, Chip. She needed someone to fill the hole in her heart left by him. She chose us because gerbils have a way of cheering people up with their antics.
She went to her favorite pet store, Pet Depot. The sales associate was very helpful and got us ready for transport in the plastic container that Mom brought along.
We now live in a big 20-gallon aquarium with a screen lid. Since we like to kick our bedding around, an aquarium is the best. We have so many places to climb on and hide in, food and water dished and, of course, the wheel. We often get in it together and run and run.
This will be a great forever home.
