This ws my hamster Pepper. She is the sweetest hamster anyone could ever ask for. When I finally convinced my mom to let me get a hamster, I was so excited! She hated rodents but I told her that hamsters didn‚t have tails. I looked at the hamsters every time we went into PetSmart. I had to wait 2 months to get Pepper, but it was completely worth the wait.
From day one, Pepper was so sweet. She has never bitten anyone, and always loves attention. She is a tad chubby, and LOVED food. She entered at hamster ball race, and came in third, even though she will always be the winner to me.
Sadly, Pepper had been sick with a respiratory infection, and had a double eye infection. She was on three medicines a day, and wasn't getting better. So last Monday, she got put to sleep. I will miss her more than she will ever know, and she will always have a special place in my heart. As much as I would like to see her get better, she was suffering, and I couldn't keep her like that. So, Pepper, I love you and always will. Everyone who knew you, even Riley (my dog - who was afraid of her), will miss you.
