HPercy is my first lovebird, and he's the sweetest little thing! He loves to be on peoples' shoulders as they walk around.
I got him at a bird fair for $50, he was the cheapest one, but I do not know why! He is for or five months, I think? I am not sure, they didn't tell me his exact age when I got him, but he is a young bird. When he was a baby, his beak was more black, but now it is his adult color. He ate a lot, for example, when I first brought him home, he ate for an hour straight and he likes seeds.
He has a little peach-colored dot above his right eye, it's like a little trademark of his :) He is a great little bird, I am so glad I got him!
He chirped really loud in my ear the other day. Dang, that bird is loud when he's on your shoulder! I didn't even plan to get a bird that day, i just saw him and i needed to have him! Besides, i think he liked me too. Plus, i had like $70 saved up for the bird fair. Not really sure why he was such a marked down price! I really thought he would cost more because he was still sort of a baby. And being a lovebird, they're usually way more expensive, like the other lovebirds there, which were $100-$150. Maybe the breeder thought he was a pain and wanted him gone! Oh well, I'm glad I got him! Sometimes he's a little escape artist though!
