My name is Meike, and this is my very sweet horse Sharmain. She is twelve years old and had her birthday in April. She is the perfect age - she is all grown up, but not yet an old horse. Did you know horses can live to be more than 25 years old? I hope she lives even past that. This is a picture from a couple years ago, but I love it because she was just washed and combed, and had not yet rolled in the dust to get dirty again!
I love Sharmain because she is nice and pretty! She is a black and white Paint Horse, and she loves carrots for a special treat, and loves her hay, too. She likes it when I clean her fleece. Sometimes I braid her mane just for fun. Sharmain seems to hate cars and dogs, she always had. But she is nice to me, and never nips or acts up, and I love her very much.
