Here is my guinea pig, his name is Asterix. Asterix is a bit shy, but very friendly once he knows you. When he's scared, he hides in his house, he feels safe there I guess. I like him, because he's so cute and he always eats all his food, like a good boy! He loves carrots, cucumbers and grass.
His big cage is in the garden and in the winter the cage stands in a hut, so he can stay warm and safe. His special feature is that he has three colors.
Asterix can run very quickly, better than me. It is good that he likes me, or I would never be able to catch him when he is our for exercise and play! One year ago he jumped over obstacles, for example little tree branches. But now he's too old, but that is okay. I love him anyway!
