I rescued Cookie from the pet store about five or six months ago. When I got him he was full grown but had been badly picked on by the other hamsters. He had a purple foot and scabs all over his body.
Since I've had him he's really been great. He's so sweet and cute, very loving. With love and care - and his own space with no other hamsters to abuse him, as you can see, his long fur grew back in beautifully. He is now by far my oldest hamster - he's probably a year or so old now. He loves being out on my bed to run around, and loves that can-cave! Long live Cookie! :)
