These are my parakeets, Lemon and Lime. Lemon, is a girl and I named her Lemon because she is yellow, and Lime is boy. I named him Lime because he has some green on him. I got them from a woman that didn't want them anymore. She did not tell me how old they were, and had not even given them names that they responded to.
I had been looking for some parakeets, and when I heard about these two, I knew I just had to get them. They are very sweet and chirp rather loudly. Lemon will stand on my finger every once in a while, and Lime, seeing her get attention, will usually always jump right on. Lime can also talk a little, and most clearly he can say "hello." It took me a really long time of saying continous "hello's" to him. But he finally got it. I love my Lemon and Lime so much, and they make every day enjoyable.
