Gomboc came as a surprising Valentine's Day present four weeks ago, and with his intelligence, kindness and endless energy he easily became my little friend. As he was not my first hamster, I knew that we will spending the next few years together. At least, fate turned out to be different. One day under the not so strict supervision of my mother he found a way into the tunnels opening from the bathroom (not the sewers, the ventillation system) and since we have not seen him - he did not make any noise, I think he fell down. I searched for him for days, but knew is very little hope that I would see him again. I thought this would preserve his memory, even he was with me for so short period of time.
I will never forget him, he was such a sweetie.
