Cereal was originally my cousin's duck but he had a few other ones that singled him out and attacked him. We took Cereal in with arms wide open! Cereal has settled down quite cosy. He is a Muscovy Duck, also known as a Miskito Duck, as they originate on the Mosquito Coast, not in Moscow. And they eat mosquitos, too!
We let him out whenever we are home and he follows us around like a shadow (definitely when we are gardening, because he eats all the slugs and bugs)! His made our court yard his territory, and you would swear that a cow had been grazing there! (No hints why!) We love him very much and hope his is enjoying his new home!
