Poncho - who was named by his previous owner - was rescued at seven months old from a hamster-sized cage (and wheel) last September! As a result of never being handled or given space, he's not friendly in the slightest bit- but he has never tried to bite and is usually content to sleep on your lap during the day.
He only chomps down when you have something delicious-smelling on your skin- or if he thinks he can use the scent to camouflage! Once he realizes he's chomping down on a person, he lets go and curls up, almost as if in shame. Haha. It's too cute, you have to forgive him!
He's now spoiled with suitable cat food, meal worms, banana, and a 5+ ft long cage. Anything smaller, and he starts trying to climb his way out! I love him!
