Jen is our Belgian Draft Horse and she is ten years old. Jen was rescued from an Amish farm that had abused her. She was slowly nursed back to health with the love and care of my grandparents. Some of these pictures have her partner Nick in them, Jen is the tall one with the white stomach. And the black mask over her face in one picture is a fly mask, just to protect her eyes from bugs. She can see just fine, don't worry, it is a mesh when you see it up close. She now has learned many tricks, which is fun.
Jen is a sweet heart. After being abused, she is still capable of a lot love. When given a treat, Jen will bow and even give kisses if you ask for them. She is 17 hands tall so only a couple people can actually ride her, but we have often hooked her up to a buggy and taken her out. She is a great horse.
