Hi, my name is Lily, wishing everyone a very happy Valentine's Day.
My story started out sad for my new Mom. She had just lost her little mouse, Eddy. Now she had a big 20 gallon aquarium full of a wheel, hide outs, dishes and toys. She cleaned everything up and headed to the local pet store hoping to get another mouse. Much to her surprise, they were out of mice. The sales associate suggested ME. With this adorable face, how could she refuse?
They put me in the plastic transport cage that Mom brought along, and off I went to my new home.
When I was first put in my aquarium, I ran around and checked everything out. I knew where the food and water was, great hiding places, and especially the WHEEL. I ran in it for quite a while. Then it was time for a nap.
Mom loves me but she said the only disadvantage is I am nocturnal. I sleep most of the day and come out close to her bed time. She stays up a little later just to watch me play.
Life is good.
