Icarus is the most entertaining animal I have ever lived with - and that is a lot of animals! He is extremely agile. He can leap from my shoulder to the floor without hurting himself and he squeezes into the tiniest spaces! I've found him in spaces barely two inches wide, and he seems to have a body that is at least six inches in diameter.
His favorite time of the day is when he is able to come out of his cage and roll in his dust bath. If he is really happy, he starts hopping around with reckless abandon, and in the process, he knocks unstable objects over and runs into things. Icarus is very intelligent; he has learned to pick up his "baby"(a small koala bear toy) and bring it to me when I ask him to, and I've found several very secret stashes of items he has stolen from me, mainly pens, pencils, and candy. Icarus is very shy around people he does not know, but once he does get to know them, he charms them with his silly antics.
