My pet's name is Lupae. She is a female hybrid lovebird who is now three months old. The reason Lupae is so special to me is that she is a savior to my male lovebird Freddie. Freddie was free to me, the people who had him no longer wanted him so they gave him to me. Freddie was very sad and depressed, he did not handle the transition well at alll. People forget that birds are emotional creatures. I almost lost him due to loneliness. When Lupae came along, though, he perked right up and now he is the happiest lovebird I have ever seen. He does so well now with another lovebird to love! So Lupae is not only beautiful, she is a lifesaver. We look forward to many happy years with them together.
Lupae is a hybrid, which is why her coloring looks different than you might expect. But she is sweet, adorable and growing into her own as a great girl! She is a bird made for love!
