Hello. I would like to honor two of my sugar gliders. The little girl on the curtains is Sugar. The little boy on the hammock in Peanut. Sugar and Peanut are the sweetest little babies.
Sugar is a little over a year old. I have had Sugar since she was three months Out of Pouch (OOP). She is now expecting two joeys that are fathered by Peanut. She will just sit on your shoulder and crawl all over you. When she gets bored, she will jump or fly (when she is not pregnant) to another object in the room. She is very sweet and gentle.
Peanut is about 9-10 months Out of Pouch (OOP). I have had him since he was three months OOP. Peanut flies/glides more than any of my other gliders. He is the father of Sugar's joeys (still in pouch). Peanut is extremely protective of Sugar, especially since she is carrying his babies. Peanut needed a little more taming and bonding than most of my gliders. I got him right before his maturity stage. Peanut has turned into a very handsome "teenager."
When they are both out of their cage, they go off seperately and do their own thing, once they both return to their cage, they get so excited to see each other, they just kiss and kiss and kiss. Then he will rub his scent glands all over her body to cover any human smells.
These babies are really special to me.
