This is Sydney (or Syd) our ball python. She is the first snake we have ever owned! We bought her from a breeder. Believe it or not, snakes do have personality. Syd likes to pretend she is a "cobra." She lays completely flat with just her head and neck sticking up straight. She loves to hide under the paper towels in her cage with just her nose sticking out.
Sydney is more charming than most people would believe. She is very friendly and loves to be handled. We never thought owing a snake would be so much fun!
