Hi, this is Mathilde. She is fourteen years old and super sweet. In addition, she is a really fast tortoise (for a land tortoise). She is brown, green and a little bit yellow.
Her favorite food is salad. With Mathilde you can also play games. She plays with a green ball - you place it somewhere in the room and then she finds it and she pushes it away.
In winter she always sleeps in a box in the basement and hibernates, otherwise she might get too cold. At Easter we take her out of the basement and get her then let her warm up slowly for two to three days in the box that it is slowly growing warm again. Now she is fortunately awake. She is my Pet of the Day every day, and as her kind can live a long ime, she will be my Pet for years and years to come.
