Andrea is a two-year-old young lady. Her daddy is a LionHead, and her mom is a Flemish Giant. She's very sweet, happy and lives with her brother Binky.
We waited several years for a Flemish Giant to come into rescue as we do not purchase pets. Her parents are owned of a wildlife rehabilitator whose children didn't know the bunnies shouldn't "play together." She was visibly larger than the rest of her litter, so we got the phone call!
She's independent but loves all her pet siblings. We frequently see the cats in the pen with her and recently had a chipmunk take up residence. We think he came in through the dog door. We had to increase the height of her pen from 20" to 36" when she was six months old and realized she could get over by climbing the ramp that goes to the hutch and jumping out! We love our big girl!
