This is Sunshine, I don't know his exact age but I got him on about a year ago. He's a gold mystery snail, also called apple snails. He currently resides in California, Pennsylvania while I am here at school. Sunshine is very special to me. I bought him to be a companion with one of my bettas. Then after we bought Sunshine, we got two guppies. The betta died New Year's Day, and the guppies had moved on to another tank.
After that, Sunshine's tank became used for guppy fry after I got three other tanks. The fry like to play with Sunshine when he comes out of his shell, but he just goes about his business. I think they almost drove him to desperation, though, as I found him out of the tank and on my floor one day. I was so scared, but he was fine! What a brave and handsome boy. Sunshine is currently my oldest aquatic animal and I can only hope that he continues to be. He is my Sunshine at night, and even on cloudy days.
