Kamara is a Paso Fino mare. Kamara is a rescued horse like several of my herd members are.
Kamara was very badly neglected; she was not fed much and she was trained in very harsh ways. A Paso Fino horse is a gaited breed, they have a smooth trot instead of bumpy. It took three years before I could handle Kamara but now she trusts me. She is really spooky (she gets scared a lot) but I don't blame her because I don't know what else they did to her. She loves hanging out in the pasture or going for rides around the field.
Kamara is doing way better now and she is getting fat. Kamara's favorite gait is a trot. She gets along well with the other horses and she is recovering very well. My mom now rides her and we are very gentle and careful of what we do around her. We want her to know she is always safe here, and will never have to be afraid again. She is just precious.
