Foof is my Peachfaced lovebird. She is called a "green pied," and thats why she has such unique markings!
Foof is approximately ten years old and in the past was used primarily for raising lovebird babies, but now she is my beloved pet and mother to many gorgeous lovebird chicks, two of whom I have still and the others all went to live with their new humans at loving homes.
Lovebirds are not world famous for talking but she does say Hi, and wolf whistles back and forth all day. I love her so very much! Even tho she was not handled much in the past, she is very sweet and loves to come out of her cage and play, except for when she was nesting/raising chicks --that's when she fiercely guarded her domain like any good mother would:)
