Hi, my name is Pat. My life changing adventure started on a Saturday. That morning my new Mom discovered her little mouse passed away during the night. She was heartbroken. Teddy was a little sweetheart, and very friendly. Now Mom had a nice 20 gallon aquarium that was full of things, but no pet.

Later that day, after cleaning everything in the aquarium, Mom decided to go to the local pet store and get another mouse. Much to her surprise, they had no mice at the time. Thankfully, she finally spotted me, way up in the top cage. The sales associate put me in the plastic transport container Mom brought with her. She knows we love to chew, and sometimes we can chew a hole in the cardboard box they usually put us in, before we get home.

We got home, and I was put in the aquarium. I was afraid, so I stayed in the little wooden hut most of the day. Eventually I realized this place was going to be OK. There was good food and fresh water twice a day. Then I found the wheel. That is the most fun. I run and run in it. There is also a wooden, two story house with plenty of holes to go in and out. Mom put in a little paper cup to keep me entertained.

The aquarium has a screened top so I can't escape. I don't see why I would want to. This is my forever home.
