Asterix is a cute, clever and cheeky chinchilla. He's six and a half years old and he is a sapphire-white-violet chinchilla. That is what his coloring is called, to differentiate him from a standard grey or the other color varieties. He loves to play with his friends Glim and Aunel, my other chinchillas.Unfortunately, Asterix is smaller and weaker than other chinchillas. Nevertheless, he is a cheerful and friendly Chin.
His favorite food are goji berries, nuts and apples. Sometimes he comes with me to the laptop and sits on me while I write. I call this Asterix der Nussknacker (Asterix the Nutcracker). He is a very sweet little guy, and I am glad he is mine!
