Spike is special in her own ways. When we had her for about four months she was already a year old, and very smart. She wasn't hand-fed or hand-raised and we weee surprised how little time it took to get her used to us handling her. The best part is she's quickly learned to be cuddling right up to us. She loves to sing to us and talk to us. She can do the "Wolf Call" and say "Pretty," "Thank You" and her own gibberish. She has lots of toys in her cage, but likes to be out and about as well. Changes in the environment are interesting to her, and she is a curious bird.
Spike has been a joy to our family, she's always doing something to make us laugh and smile. Who could not love a face like this?
