I adopted Zenobia from a former student of mine who is now a high school teacher. He inherited her with his classroom and after a year decided she needed a better home, so I got her. I chose her name because it is the name of an ancient Syrian queen and she seemed regal enough for it.
Like most Central Bearded Dragons (Pogona Vitticeps), Zenobia is very docile and never bites. One of her favorite foods is cockroaches, which I raise to feed a number of my critters. She would like everyone to believe that she is always hungry, but she is well fed, and even gets a bit chubby if I am not careful how much I give her. I am not sure how old she is, as the classroom she was kept in didn't write down her age. She is probably five plus years old, but this will be her "forever" home now.
