Rocco is a Marshall ferret, born in US, now living in Italy with a Romanian owner (well... "owner" is to much to describe our relationship). He is the best friend you can have. He is a clever boy and bright and a little crazy! He has a harness so he can go for walks outside and to the park, and he wins fans wherever he goes.
Sometimes I give him small crumb of chocolate. He never eats meat or something else other that cat food (Purina 1-12 only). I tried many times in many ways to change that. Nothing. He's happy like that and stays healthy, so I do not worry too much. But is true, he's a great thief if you have something he wants.
He is as intelligent as a dog and a cat in one furry bundle, ready to play at any moment. He does not perceive me as his master but as playmates. I would not have ever thought that I could become so attached to such an animal. I had dogs and cats (and even a duck and a horse) but this ferret outdoes the rest.
