I was found in a parking lot hiding under a vehicle and was taken to the Burnaby SPCA. I was waiting patiently over four months for mummy to find, adopt and take me home ... now I am a free roaming homebound bunny.
Toffee used to be fearful and quiet when I first adopted her from the SPCA in July when she was around a year or maybe a year and a half old. After much bunnyrubs and love, she races around the house like a furry Ferrari .... so fast I can only hear her and not even see her! I am amazed she avoids hitting a chair or table leg.
She follows me around the house right behind me like a dog, so one nickname is Puppy. Whenever she wants a treat or attention she jumps up onto my lap and nose bumps me. She is very affectionate and licks me when I clean her area and/or add more hay.
She likes to visit her grandmummy who lives downstairs, and cutely stands at the bottom of the stairs and scratches and rips the carpet ... but only stays out of my line of sight for a minute else she gets nervous. I work from home due to a disability, so she roams free pretty close to 24/7 and keeps me very good company. We actually eat together on the couch as well. Toffee also likes watching movies as she sits beside me during same.
I loved Snoopy, a mini lop, for thirteen years before I fortunately found Toffee. I am amazed how many people love their bunnies as I do. We hope you all have a bunny day!!!
