This is my little gerbil Szaraczka, Szara for short. She's so sweet and cute. Her coloring is so soft, and it depends on what she is near, and the lighting in any place, whether she looks tan or grey. This is not only interesting to see, but I bet it would serve her well in the wild, and helped her wild ancestors blend in to their desert surroundings.
Szara is usually very busy and active, unless she is asleep, and then she buries herself in her bedding so she is hidden away. I was very glad to get these pictures of her. She is very sweet, and does not bite like some gerbils I know. I think she is beautiful, and I love her very much.
