He is special because he is our pet squirrel! And he likes to eat a lot - really! Squall is really timid around strangers, as I feel most squirrels are, yet on the other hand, he gets very protective of me and my roommates. We are his humans, no one else should get too close, he thinks.
He has never really been interested in chasing balls or playing with string, but he does like to climb the obstacles we have for him in the house. He's relatively independent but is quite content being a "lap squirrel" once or twice a day. And yes, he does eat a lot, it's uncanny. He's eaten half a slice of pizza before that was left out before we caught him.
We try to feed him healthy food, but he is sure, as a college student, pizza is good food!
