Colum lives in Canada, but no specific town, as he travels all over. Colum is a super horse, raised by Bear, his owner, from a colt. He is loving and reliable horse. They set off in the spring and travels for days, often for five or more hours a day in rain, snow, and blistering heat. Colum is like a big loving dog, as he will not leave his master without a fight. But what makes him really special is how he gets along with everyone and everything. I never saw or heard of such a gentle giant, and one you can trust for sure.
Being so faithful and hauling and being a companion for his master for days on days until winter hits, I think Colum is a special Tinker horse. I know he is not my pet. But he is something very special. Even though times can get rough, and in some places they go there's little food and shelter for him, he still shows his person, and all the humans he meets, kindness and love.
