This is Bambi, and she is now seven years old. She is a sweet girl, and I got her along with her friend when my old guinea pigs had died, and the house felt empty without them. She was a little shy when she first got here, but she got more and more used to me more as time went on.
My Bambi is a girl, even though the Bambi in the animated movie is a boy. She is an Abyssinian Guinea pig, which is why she has such pretty long flowing hair, and those long white whiskers, unlike her friend who is the Rex with crinkly fur you can see behind her. She is a sweet girl, and keeps her fur clean with her own daily grooming and beauty routine. It is adorable to watch. I am glad to have her as part of my guinea pig family.
