Monty is a gelding who came to me as a complete wreck, He was spooky, bucked, wouldn't let you put his bridle on and was a complete pain. We almost gave up on him because nothing we did could make him be sensible. After about a year, we decided we had to sell him because he was dangerous. He would rear and kick at you.
Then, very suddenly during the winter of 2015, he stopped. All our efforts suddenly took effect, and he started being sane. Now, he is a changed horse. He trusts me so much and has stepped out his comfort zone and been a little pony with a big heart. He lets me do anything on him, including standing on his back, jumping and hacking. He went cross-country schooling in the summer of 2016, and completely blew us away with how willing and sensible he was. He is honestly the most amazing little horse and he has come a lvery long way since when we bought him four years ago.
