My pets are Mona and Lisa the rats, they are female. They are six months old and they live in my room in a cage. They are very sweet. They love climbing and they climb very quickly. When I go on holiday I give Mona and Lisa to a friend to feed them so they will not get lonely or hungry.
Mona and Lisa are my first rats but not my first pets. I have two mice before the rats. The rats are very clever and they can learn tricks. They know when I call their name and come then, and they "give me four" on command, which I say because rats have four fingers on their arms and five fingers on their back legs. When I got them I was very happy. My father's aunt and uncle gave me the cage for them. I like female rats more because they are smaller, and they can learn better. They are also more social and they can play more with me. I love them.
