This is my chinchilla - Mamrot. He looks like a cute furry-ball, but the truth is kind of different. He isn't very sociable, but he doesn't mind meeting new people. He treats my room as his territory � every change and every guest must by checked and approved. He especially doesn't like cats. When I let one young cat into my room, he wouldn't let her stand on the floor, running around. Although he is rather tiny, he manages to kick out dogs many times bigger than himself. He just comes around them and doesn't give them a second of peace.
His favourite snack are electric wires. I can't even count how many of them were repaired and how much did it cost. But even after all that, I love him. I love when he comes to me and sits on my foot, when he lets me stroke him and when he is begging for another almond nut. I hope to spend many more precious days with him.
